“Using Data To Address Significant Injuries & Fatalities (SIF)”
Total recordable incident rates in the United States have been steadily decreasing for many years. However, total worker fatalities increased in 2014 and 2015 – to levels not seen since 2008. In addition, the U.S. fatality rate has remained essentially flat for more than a decade, while the average cost of workers’ compensation claims has increased significantly. During this workshop, we’ll discuss the issues at play and look at methods to address and overcome these barriers to improvement.
